Hi, I’m Judy. As you might have guessed, I’m a fan of classic movies, from the 1930s and 40s in particular. Some of the reviews on this site are quite long and often I do discuss the whole plot – I’ve tried to put any major spoilers under a cut.
My favourite actors include James Cagney, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, John Barrymore, Norma Shearer, Laurence Olivier, Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, and I’m especially fond of the gritty Warner Brothers movies of the period. A bit more about me – I’m a 40-something and live in England, with my husband and two kids. I work as a local newspaper sub-editor.
