Hi, I’m Judy. As you might have guessed, I’m a fan of classic movies, from the 1930s and 40s in particular. Some of the reviews on this site are quite long and often I do discuss the whole plot.
My favourite actors include James Cagney, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, John Barrymore, Barbara Stanwyck, John Garfield, Clara Bow, Loretta Young, Laurence Olivier, Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, and I’m especially fond of the gritty Warner Brothers movies of the period. In case you’re wondering which movie the picture in the site header comes from, it’s John Barrymore with Katharine Hepburn in A Bill of Divorcement.
A bit more about me – I’m 51 and live in England, am married and have two kids. I work as a local newspaper sub-editor.
